It seems like his heart isn't in it this year, since it will be his last. But you never know with him. They wrote him off other years, and he came back.

It's not that his HEART isn't in it, he's having stomach issues and is probably struggling with other unnamed issues ala 2003.

April isn't July, and July is the only race that matters to him.

True, but since he's retiring after this year's TDF, and he already holds the record, he may have a different outlook on it.

From what I know about Armstrong, and that's just what I've read over the years, if he doesn't want to win this years Tour as bad as he did the first one then he's in seriously bad mental shape. He's said over and over that the Tour is the only race that matters to him. Even if his head ain't in it now, it will be come July.

Let's just hope he doesn't crash.

Remember that Mr. Armstrong also plays a very mean mental game with his opponents. He's been known to sandbag, grimacing like a fat man on a difficult climb and then blowing everybody else away after they get too complacent.

He's overcome so much tragedy in his life and has dominated the TDF. I remember watching when he dropped out on a cold and rainy day years ago just before he was diagnosed with cancer. In my book he's the best endurance athlete in the world. and a class act besides.

I hope he wins #7 this summer.

So do I. And in a little over a month the Tour begins anew. Good luck and God bless Lance.

He was 3rd in today's time trial. I think he's going to do well in the TDF. I sure hope he can one more.

The 4th stage is a climb. Lance and Team Discovery will be strong there.

He had a good day. 4th up Mont Ventoux but very close to a win and now sits in 2nd overall for the race. I think he'll do just fine next month.

Here we go sports fans. I'm betting on #7 for Mr Armstrong, but no matter what happens, he's my man.
