that play he made though I'm sure he wanted to run the ball all the way to first so he wouldnt have to throw it so we wouldnt have a repeat of game 3.....I'll keep believing but they have to win 3 to beat them and they even said last night the cards are 0-4 for coming back from being 3 games down

Definitely not world caliber the last few games - pitching or fielding. Decent batting but not enough.
I hate to dis Wainwright - and he definitely had his stuff tonight
- but he's like Carpenter. Deep inning pitchers but you never know if they're on or not until 4 or 5 innings in. So if they have given the game away by then, or if the offense is still weak, its over. Yet when they're on they're on. They are crap shoot pitchers and I never have confidence going in.
Lackey was strong and so was Lynn. They wore out Rosenthal.
With all their publicity about recruiting and developing pitching, where was it this year? And hitting was hit and miss. They scrambled as usual to make the post season, but its been on eggshells the entire season. IMO
Yet they clocked the Dodgers and stayed ahead of Mil & Pitts...
So.........
Come on KC! Gonna barbie a Kansas City Strip to encourage them!
