Its football time in ......

Its only May, but my blood is beginning to boil Orange for my Volunteers! Hopefully this season will be better than last.

What are your predictions on your team?

I'm just going to play it safe and say the Vols WILL go to a bowl. Gonna hope for the W over Florida and 'Bama. And THE USC since I hate Spurrier...

Vols fan here. It can't get much worse than last season. Though already this 'season' they've kicked a kid off of the team and suspended their Center indefinitely.

I predict a National Championship for the Irish this season!
(this coming from the guy who thought the Penguins had a chance of winning Lord Stanley )

Heck . . I'm closer to you (Cincinnati) than Knoxville. ESPN.com, and the Knoxville News Sentinal help me with my 'Big Orange' fix!

I bleed Orange also. Orginally from Kingsport in East Tennessee. I will be moving to Fort Bragg, NC this summer. At least I will be able to see more games on TV. I'm betting we will go to a bowl but I just want to beat Spurier at South Carolina.

So Cal will have trouble replacing Leinart and Bush and I just read where Stoops kicked the Sooner starting QB off the team for NCAA rules violation. Guess I'll place my hopes with the Seminoles, Rutgers, & App. State this year.

Hey us Sooners still have Paul Thompson. I'm just hoping for a 1985 Jamelle Holliway miracle again.
Well Thompson isn't a Freshman, but you get the point.

My Washington Huskies aren't going anywhere this year. Unless they greatly improved from the last two years they'll be lucky to win three games. Guess I'll be rooting for my second favorite team: Michigan.

That's a cool story. I hope this guy gets some playing time.

Phillip Fulmer is the single most crooked SOB in all of college football. He excels at turning everyone else in for the exact thing he does himself, just to turn the investigators away.

Why do Volunteers wear orange? Because it's good for wearin' to football on Saturday, huntin' on Sunday, and picking up trash on the side of the road with the rest of the convicts the other five days of the week.

Roll Tide little doggy, Roll Tide.

Phillip Fulmer may be dirty, but not even close to the Bear.

War Eagle - 5 in a row vs the tide this year

Well - a Noles fan checking in. I'm looking forward to the butt-kicking we'll be issuing down in Miami in 2 weeks. I can't wait!

As for us - unlikely that we'll go undefeated having to play UM, Clemson and UF plus the ACC Championship game and whatever bowl.

Looks like WV has a CAKE schedule and could be undefeated pretty easily, although I'll cheer for U. So. FL. to upset them since I'm here in Tampa.

Notre Dame should also run the table or only lose one. I expect Quinn to be the Heisman and put up some gross numbers.

I'll say WV and ND play for the title, and my Noles finish the year 13-1 winning a BCS bowl game and end up #3 in the final polls.

Say what you will, but who's more memorable?

And we shall see little kitty, we shall see.

I hope they win it. been a fan since 2nd grade...
Brody is going to be awesome this year.
If he had gone to the draft this year (i'm super glad he didnt), he would have been the first QB chosen for sure.

Hmmm . . . I don't think the Vols will make it this year.

Top 3 Reasons Why Tennessee Won't Win The Nat'l Championship:

1) Sept. 16 vs. (7) Florida
2) Oct. 7 @ (15) Georgia
3) Oct. 28 @ South Carolina - Phil just can't seem to beat Spurrier.

I'm not sure about Cal and LSU. I do believe they'll beat 'Bama Oct. 21, though.

And, apparently, FSU kickers missed 4 of 6 FG's in practice the other day, so it looks like I have another fall of heartbreak ahead of me.
