Yea, not the best performance by Rex today. I even wanted Bears to win just because I despise NE.

I'm afraid i'm with you. What a huge dissapointment. They're going nowhere in the playoffs. He's either a 150 rating or a 35. That won't work. Been suffering all these years, I thought this was thier year...not.

Rex looked VERY promising at the start... but he has been the worst QB in the bast month imo

Don't worry.
There's still 5 more games which should be a breeze so I'm sure he'll bounce back.
I watched him play at UF and he'd play better after a few bad games.

LOL!
If the Bears lose to my sorry Buccaneers (Dec 17th), then they've got some serious problems.

I don't think the Bucaneers have a snowball's chance against the Bears. Their D is just too strong. But Grossman has been their Achilles heel with his erratic performance and that won't cut in during the playoffs. But he doesn't suck.

In my wildest dreams I've been hoping for a San Diego-Chicago Super Bowl. It could happen but I'm not willing to bet on it.

I can't believe I wrote that just a day before today's game. Grossman had another one of those days and so did The Bears D. I shudder to think how good the Bears would be this year if they had a consistent quarterback.

The Bears D is awesome, it reminds me of the Bucs D of the late 90's and 2000s which Lovie learned while he was a Bucs assistant.
Back in the day, it was the Bucs D that always carried the team through the regular season. And when it came to the playoffs, the teams were better, and the D held their own, but there just wasn't enough offense to win the game a la Tony Dungy (See 1999 NFC Championship 11 - 6 loss to the Rams and lopsided defeats to the Eagles in 2000 and 2001).
I hope Lovie doesn't have that same Dungy mentality because it will definitely bite him in the end.

They should be able to beat my Bucs, 99-0, in 2 weeks.
Knowing the Bucs history of playing in < 40 degree weather (aside from their only win at Philly in the 2003 NFC Championship), they're good at making the opponents look like a Superbowl caliber team no matter how bad or how good they are. See highlights from Sunday's 20-3 loss to the rusting Steelers or the 38 - 10 Thanksgiving day loss at Dallas.

Well, at least they can say that they're one of the few who teams to have won a Superbowl.
I'll never forget that year. It was the best of times.
The highlight of their 30 year existence, but of course, history repeats itself.

Good luck at St. Louis on Monday Night.
Maybe they'll still have their hangover after their embarassing 34 - 20 loss to the Cardinals? Yes the CARDINALS!!!

Rex will have a passer rating over 90.0 tonight!

(Or at least if he doesn't he won't have to worry about passer ratings the remainder of the season.)

Good game. Congrats to Hester! Doesn't say much for Rams D for letting him slip through, TWICE, otherwise it would've been a much closer game.

Now Rex just sort of sucks. He drives me crazy with his inconsistency.

Hester! What can you say other than he's amazing~
