Is Auburn overrated?

In my opinion, yes they are. Very much so and I AM an Auburn fan and have been for many years. I'm sorry fellow Auburn fans, but I beleive even if they do go undefeated and there are 2 other undefeated teams Auburn will get screwed again because of their schedule strength. You can't play teams like Buffalo and be a 7 TD favorite and struggle to win. Thay also did nothing tonight against South Carolina to prove they're a number 2 team.

I didnt see the game, but listened to part of it tonight. Im gonna have to agree with you. I thought with the LSU struggle, we proved ourselves, but afterwards, we shouldnt have to struggle with Buffalo of all teams (no offence buffalo fans)

Auburn looked pretty bad against South Carolina. The Tiger defense looked confused the whole time, and SC had two late opportunities to tie the game.

Yeah thats twice the defense has been sorta exposed on national TV as to they aren't as rock solid as everyone made them out to be. They can still hold thier own though

Florida and Bama are about the only two games that I am worried about.

The offensive line doesn't know how to pass protect. Their defense is the worst i've seen in years. Fortunately, their schedule is not overly ambitious. The only concern I have is later against Florida. I think Auburn will play that game too conservatively, fall behind and not be able to get their passing game going to pull out a win. This is one time that I hope i'm wrong.

Going on the road in the SEC is tough, throw in the high emotion of a Thursday game, a short week to prepare and you have a tough recipe. Auburn did not look great but they will be fine. Our D cant be that bad LSU scored 40 or more in every game but Auburn were they only managed 3.

Losing 24-10 to Arkansas, I'd say they are very over-rated. But I'm still hoping they come back and win. Would make an easy national championship victory if my Buckeyes are lucky enough to get there.

Even if they win, I don't think they should hold on to the number 2 ranking, they just don't look that good.

I tried to tell you guys they weren't a 2 rated team. Wait and see what happens next week when they play Florida. Auburns own braodcasters believe they will fall out of the top 10.

They alreaady have fallen out of the top ten. The problem with all the success Auburn has had of late, including the last couple of years, is their schedule. They haven't had any real powerhouse matchups out of conference and that in itself is enough to keep them down. This Iron Bowl will be the best in years.

HMMMMM?
Auburn 27, Florida 17 - much better than the BAMA game we attended early with BAMA winning by 3 in over time.

NO, I do not think that Auburn is over rated, just D@MN GOOD.

I knew when Florida got the ball on that last drive, with the new clock rules, they'd screw something up. They tried a really fancy play as a last chance hail mary and what'd they do, screw up, fumble and AU got the turnover and scored! Just doesnt get better.

Man that was a wild game. Glad I was there. Anyone else see Auburn is #4 in the BCS?? This gives us a good shot to the title game even with the loss to arkansas.

But there's alot of football left to play. It doesn't matter if they're #4 right now. It only matters if they're #4 (or better) at the end of the season.

Auburn's BSC ranking will take a hit this weekend against Tulane. Winner of WVU/UL later this month will be #4 in the BCS, provided that OSU/UM/USC keep winning.

But, yes, the AU/UF game was great to be at. I'd rank the volume that night to be in the top two or three I've personally heard there.
