the MotorTrend article said that the hood, and the chin spoiler will be changed slightly for the production model. And there might be 19' wheels available

(read the little captions)

EDIT: oops, Crazyhorse beat me to it

How come you guys know everything? I'm not the only one that has posted the same. Well, my brother works for Ford. Does your daddy?

Personally I am not digging the extra foglights. I like it just the way it was shown. Plus, it should be functionally cooler without them. I also like the offset Cobra.

Simplicity.

I would think twice before bringing family into this.

From the GT500 MT article:

"Our recent experience in Gran-Am racing in Daytona showed us that the stock Mustang builds up a fair amount of air underhood at high speeds, and the Shelby's larger grille would worsen the problem," says Doug Gaffka. "So the scoops in the hood are actually exhaust outlets, which alleviate pressure buildup in the engine compartment."

I'm with you ((Shock))
I'd rather have it nice and clean in the grill with the cool emblem off to the drivers side

I like that chop, what about removing the other lights in the lower fascia?
Like this?

Edit: So you basically want a GT with the Cobra emblem? & Moved chop to post #8 for easier viewing.

The whole front is different from the GT, just because the fogs are in the same place. How about an example from 1967...

If they do change the hood I wouldn't expect anything different. Just larger openings or something to that effect. They are not going to stick a regular GT hood on and call it a day after coming up with this design element.

:nono: Dont be touching those Signature Round foglights in the Bumper! Thats an SVT specialty.
No i love round foglights that SVT cobras have always had. Like my 98. I think the car looks good just as is in the front end.

4. I like the rear except for the lower facia. It should be painted along with the rockers.
^^^^, along with the mirrors

I dont mind the offset cobra emblem in the grille...it should have a small "GT500" or something along with it. To me the cobra emblem as it is now is just....out there. Like those V6 owners who put add on "GT" emblems in the wrong place.

That's probably why I dont like the rear of the new cobra. Its that big S H E L B Y on it. It HAS to be on the rear for sure, its just not in the correct spot.

But what I do like about the car is that the price wont change too much.

Hey, don't the wheels look narrower than the ones on the 03/04?

My big beef (in terms of the styling) is how flat wheels are. The car needs wheels with some depth and some meatier rubber.
