Okay....since we haven't had anything really new in a bit here, I'm gonna start one of my wishlists again (not in any particular order). Please chime in....and hopefully Ford is peeking too...
1. HID lights (if an SVT Focus can have 'em, so can their top-dog Cobra!)
2. Real Seats -- I saw a Saturn Ion (barf!) with Recaros!!! I hope Ford gives us
something more than V6 seats.
3. Top Quality Stereo -- Not bashing the Mach stereo, but it would be nice to have
a Bose/Mark Levinson type quality system in a car like this, or at least the
option.
4. 19" wheels, or at least 2 styles or so to choose from.
5. Real "Factory" Performance options. I do remember a few years back when
I first got my '01 Cobra, the SVT magazine had an article where Ford was
describing how they will soon offer numerous enhancements/options that
we can choose from from the factory........such as wheels/exhaust, etc. We all
like to individualize our cars, but other brands do offers performance options
that can be ordered.......exhaust, gears, shifters, etc.
6. A Ducktail.............I know they say the spoiler helps creat downdraft....but
darn those ducktails look good!
7. And finally a Cobra that is exactly what a Cobra should be....... something that
stands out a bit as far as looks.......not just a little nip n tuck here and there
...not a GT with a different engine and a few upgrades. I'm not saying it
should be totally redesigned, but there should be a distinct difference
between the Cobra and all other Mustang models. I was P.O.'d when I saw
the '02 V6 mustang with the '01 Cobra hood as standard equipment.
