Have a look at the sentence down towards the end that says: "Of the estimated 1,500 Shelbys to be produced in the first year, 'We'll probably get about three,' McCartney said."

Clearly someone is woefully misinformed...and I hope it's not us. :scratch:

There have way too many articles and interviews that have pegged the number at around 7K. I doubt the Waco Tribune-Herald has some kind of inside info that noone else has.

I live in waco, pretty much anything they print about cars is complete BS, but I have seen that guys GT. Pictures do NOT do that car justice, other than his 00 R he's also got a 79 pace car that has like 800 miles on the odometer, he had an 83 with a 03 cobra drivetrain in it that he sold, and a pretty most awesome 04/05 f-150.
