You guys may think I'm crazy and I thought it was a fake at first... but apparently its not. I really thought he had just bought aftermarket parts and added them the first time I saw it, until I saw it parked and him beside it. Man I wish I had a camera. I'm on the lookout for her again tho. There is a guy that lives in my area that has been circuit drag racing for years and is long time friends with Mr. Shelby and Jack Roush apparently. He is currently driving a black Shelby GT500 signed by Shelby under the hood and on the dash which is also inscribed made specially for (this guy - who I said I would not say his name on a public forum)... and in the inscription it is numbered VIN 1! My friend and I were like where in the **** did you get her??? HOW did you get her??? and he said he was at a show and ran into Mr. Shelby and he asked him when he could get his hands on a 500 a few months ago. Fast forward a month... he receives a phone call from Mr. Shelby's asst saying your car will be delivered to you next week. He was in a hurry to leave so I didn't get any more information really on the car... but just stood there w/ my jaw on the ground in a daze as he pulled off.
