We were up on Mt Charleston, NV (30 minutes from Las Vegas) today and saw four GT500 mules. Two had unpainted hoods, one had GT bumpers. They all hads lots of instrumentation inside. I thought the car looked great.

I'm surprised they are testing "complete" GT500's. I would think they'd want them to look like GT's so they didn't get so much attention.

Hope they lower them a bit more -- still look like they are ready for off-road duty.

And I sure hope they make better hood stripes, becuase those look cheap and horrible IMHO.

It look's like there is a little air diffusor just ahead of the front wheel, along the well. Look's sort of like the thing on the new Z06.

Or maybe that's just wishful thinking...

I looked inside two of them and they had GT interiors with lots of instrumentation.

Would it be unacceptable to put that front end on a regular GT, not any cobra emblems just that type front end, I wouldn't be hanged by REAL shelby owners right? Cause it looks sweet!

I think I know what you mean, I don't know about z06 but they are on the ford GT, I noticed it when they first showed the concept cobra.

Great find!! Finally a black one ... minus the hood.

I'm going to be nuts waiting until next year. Just waiting on the 05 about killed me. I'll just have to live vicariously through everyone on this site making their cars look great and go fast!

Unknown. They were in the parking lot of the Mt Charleston Lodge when we were on the way up. When we were on the way back down, they were headed the opposite way up the mountain.

The rocker moldings are body colored. I hope they are black on the production model. I thought that looked cool.
