I just got back from the California Auto Show. Lots of cars, including-

Shelby GR-1
Ford GT


I am re-sizing pics right now. Unfortunately, my camara didn't do well with the Saleen spinning and taking pics. But I tried. BTW....the S281-E (Due out this Spring) will be

525hp
520lbs/ torque.

I also have a video of the saleen spinning, and a lady going over details about the car...but it is 30mb. Anyone know how to make it smaller?

I am still so stoked about the show. I saw so many cars..including a 05 Mustang GT and V6. I got to sit in the v6. and I liked it VERY much.


Things I noticed...

I slammed the door on the V6....sounds SOLID.

I didn't like the pics of the Saleen, but in person...I loved it.


I have 80 pics of the whole night...including a Chrysler that goes 248mph....so if any of you would like some...I can send them to you over AIM. AIM is SurfnSoCal

The E version will probably be priced near Viper range.

no, a 281 is a 4.6 L engine. A 5.4 L would be around 330 cubic inches.

 

That's excellent news, thanks for the report. Glad to see Saleen trying to take the performance to another level.

 

I like the pipes on the saleen, it just looks sweet. Does anyone know how much a saleen will cost? Are there different levels/stages like a Roush? Awesome pics Richard.
