Saleen S281 N/A Canadian Prices

I was just at the Pacific International Auto Show here in Vancouver and they had a normally aspirated Saleen S281 on display in Legend Lime.
The car looks pretty stunning on the outside. Wheel & tire size and offset are PERFECT. But what floored me was the price. $57K CDN...?!
And the car DIDN'T have the IUP!
I didn't know Saleen was making them without the IUP. I also didn't know that the S281s for Canada are being built in Canada, somewhere in the vicinity of Montreal.
Great looking car on the outside, but waaaaay too much money when one considers that a 450+ horsepower Shelby will probably go for about the same price here. :notnice:

Yeah, I was reading somewhere that Saleen had a Canadian facility somewhere and was building s281's for Canadian orders. But, that is news to see one w/o IUP :scratch: Odd. You didn't happen to get any photos of it, did you?

Awesome! The AJC Auto Show is here in Atlanta starting this Saturday. I'll be there w/ bells on and have my camera in hand.
Also, if you don't mind and can find someone w/ info, check on the background of the non-IUP Saleens. I'm curious to know more.
