Why do you think? saleen choose 275/40/20 rear tires?
that is 1.5" taller wheel diameter than stock.
27.17" vs 28.66" wheel diameters
I'll put a call into saleen and ask this question too...

I was wondering why Saleen chose a tire size that is about 1.5" taller in diameter than the stock size.
