What size are the stripes on the 05's that were at the auto shows. They look like 8 or 9 inches? They seem to line up with the three fangs on the front end (However wide that is?).

I think its Roush's stripes that are way too narrow and look kinda cheesy.

Also it looks like there's two bolts or something on that hood, will that require painted stripes as opposed to the tape?

 

I take it you mean the washer nozzles. You can take those out, put tape stripes on and re-clip them back in again.

 

Exactly, its very easy to remove them. You might even consider painting them the colour of the stripes.

 

They are likely 10 or so inches wide.

Vinyl stripes are a bad idea though imo. Do a search for "vinyl" and you'll see what I mean.

 

I heard a rumor they might have stripes as an option on the 2006 models. I'm gonna hold out till summer/fall 2005 and see what the 2006 models have. If no stripes, then depends on whether I feel like waiting for the 2006 to arrive or if I just wanna go pick up a 2005.
