yea, I meant the buy it now price...what a rip, it ain't worth it for some body mods and 100 extra hp...you could do it urself 4 cheaper

dont hate me 4 sayin this, but I really liked that corvette, I sat in it at the ajc auto show, and I could picture myself driving down an empty highway goin really fast

I don't think anyone would hate you for it, I love the Corvette, just not practical for me right now (hard to fit a car seat in the back seat ). It, like the Mustang, has the heritage going for it. Sad to say, but one of the few bright spots GM has going for it.

Maybe a dumb question :scratch: Where is the supercharger?I dont see it in the engine photos.Stock airbox with factory tube right to the throttle body..........

How did they lose 8mph highway? That's insane...

And the 'Vette Z51 will be my "Batmobile" project car when I get the money saved up for it. Custom panel fabrication isn't going to be cheap. :P

Edit: I just looked at the window sticker posted in the auction. It said 15/24. Wow. That almost scared me away from my 'stealth' supercharger.

The Saleen looks terrific, IMHO, but I agree it's about $15K too expensive. Don't know how they expect to sell these at those prices once the Shelby hits the market.
