It's time to give crazyhorse a c/t.

My suggestion would be Mr. GT500. He has earned it.

Appreciate the props.

Some of may know the story. I sold my last mustang in 96 with the intention of buying another shortly after. Time went by quickly. As I was shopping the '03 Cobra, dealers were trying to get premiums (I refused). While I was waiting, the '05 Concept got revealed. I decided to wait on what is now known as the GT500. It has been a long wait. I'm ready to feel the pride of owning a car like that again.

It's a good thing I gave up on it. Kevin wouldn't have stood a chance. Not a chance. I'll be happy with the snake for a while. Besides, it's got IRS, plus... the trunk release button.

Oh! And I am a snob. Do you hear that, HTT? :banana2:

Wonder how Ford feels about this? Maybe it will force their hand into offering a better hood, ducktail, and into keeping the leather interior.
Yeah, my thoughts exactly. How did Shel get away with doing this car, given his relationship with Ford?

The V8 version doesn't look appealing exterior wise, especially the big rims with narrower tires streched on the rim. (whats with the euro thing  )

the V6 has 20's on it with "tires streched on the rim" also.....

The hood looks like the original concept. I wonder if the side scoops are functional? The ricer wing is gross. Personally, I think Shelby is burning bridges with Ford by putting his name on this car.

I have felt your pain. Years ago, I bought a new 99 Cobra vert. As most people know, that car didn't meet expectations and I also had some electrical issues so I sold it in less than two years. In May I took delivery of my 05 GT. I had forgotten what owning a car like this was like. When it is all said and done, the wait will seem like nothing and you will be smiling with every shift of the gear. Oh, and by the way, when you do take delivery how about giving a fellow TMS member a ride considering I don't live that far away from you.

crazyhorse appears to be a very, very sensible man who probably views his knees as a necessity rather than a commodity.
