Here is what i want

DHG Paint, and no other colors offered
black 18 inch BULLIT wheels, and not ford's 06 GT wheels, they don't look right, these do- Click this for bullit's pics
i also think it needs a billet aluminum gas door
a black chin spoiler
a nice hood scoop, like the ROUSH STAGE 3 concept had
a SE intake made only for the bullit, or a 5.4 NA V8
BULLIT kick plates by the doors
not sure about which spoiler though
it should have a T-56 tremec in it
solid axle (sorry IRS snob's)
and, some smoked seqential tailights.

Here's what I'd like to see:

3 colors (Dark Highand Green, Black, some kind of dark Blue)
Chrome 18" Bullits
Chrome Exhaust tips
Billet gas door
Billet Shifter
Special Badge for the rear (I'm thinking a pony logo that looks like the one in the pic below)
Special Steering Wheel Badge (like the one in the pic below)
Red brake Calipers
Ducktail Spoiler (not a regular spoiler)
Hood Scoop (I'd like to see a shaker hood like on the Mach1)

A lot of this comes from the Bullit Concept http://bradbarnett.net/mustangs/conc...litt/index.htm

i would want it as close to the original as possible. This body is perfect to make a perfect replica!

DHG
No Fog Lights,
No Spoiler
Some type of really black grill that you can't see
No Pony Emblem
18' inch black bullitts with a nice chrome center cap
Shelby/05 Concept lower fascia
Hood with openings similar to the '68 original

With the reported facelift reported and all, I would love for it to look like this one (forgot who created it ) just take off the pony

I just glad they are doing a "BULLITT" on a better version. (puts on flame suit) as I never thought the SN95 was the best choice.

My thoughts....

Of course available in dk highland green
(black would be ok, no blue)
No spoiler
Bullitt wheels or Painted fan blades
315 hp minimum
no fogs in grill

I liked the 01 one, so I can't even imagine what the 08 will look like. I'm sure it will be sick though. I woudl like to see:
No spoiler
DHG color
Black grill, no poinie, or small one off to the side of the grill
black bullitt wheels
no fogs, or lower ones that are semi hidden
slightly more hp then the GT, but nothing that will kill insurance rates
and most important for me: Enough production so that I can get one!

I'd like what you listed but will add the following

No scoops of any kind unless they are functional
HID Headlights since where will be no driving or fog lights
A special interior design exclusive to the model

yeah, def a functional scoop if there is one, or a hood based on the 68 one.

Where did you get the "stupid V6 pony" idea from?
That emblem was on the 1969-71 Mach 1s, and the 69-70 429s before it was placed on the 05 V6 (which I think is a good idea)

My take = what thezeppelin8 put (fully agree w/the photochop you posted), and as for:

"Hood with openings similar to the '68 original", why not just use the Shelby prototype's hood? It is almost exactly the same as what was in the movie, unless the car in the movie had non-functioning heat extractor vents?

Of course, painted DHG, as well.

I would like to see NO new Bullitt on the SN-197 platform. AT ALL. The original Bullitt's were supposed to be the only ones, and I would like to see it stay that way. Ford told Bullitt owner's there wouldn't be anymore, and they have plenty of other classic names they could use, and still keep their word (Mach 1, Boss, GT350, GT500, Highland Special, California Special, Twister, etc.). That is what I would like to see.

I'm with Bigred0383 on this one. As an owner of an 01 Bullitt, I'd like it to remain exclusive.....

But I'm not holding my breath

-2 reverse scoops on the hood...
-no badges on the side
-no fogs/badges on the front...have the crosshatch pattern grill (Cobra/GTR-40 grill style)
-no spoiler
-255 tires on 18 inch Bullitt rims (midnight silver)
-unique exhaust (rolled chrome tips)
-rear fake gas cap that says "GT" under it "Bullitt" that are both green anodized
-side window louvers as part of the window so you can still see through the slits (so its not a HUGE blind spot)
-dark IUP on the inside with dark green anodized shift ****/door sills/door handles
-black interior with dark green seat inserts (front back)
-unique lower facia
-lowered slightly
-suspension beefed
-3.73s and intake + tune
-350hp 4.6 on 87 octane
-free copy of bullitt in the trunk

How about a Boss 302 with the 5.0 cammer instead of another Bullitt?
