New Aftermarket player--Cragar

Here's the next aftermarket specialist.

Looks like they have some big plans (and have a thing for pop-riveted body parts).
Surprised they released this before SEMA.

i thought that my laptops screen was just dirty, until i realized the dots on the flares were pop rivets as well. meh, it doesnt bother me thaaaat much.

it could to with more striping, as in, filling in the gaps in the striping lol, to make it continuous

otherwise, i think its pretty cool

the front end is so sweet

I was just thinking that, would love to see a front shot of it. Looks similar to the GT-R

I saw the Cragar Special Edition Mustang this past saturday at the Copperstate Mustang Club car show in Mesa, AZ. To say the least I was less than impressed with it. Though I liked what they were trying to accomplish that front hood scoop IS HUGE... and the rivets along the sides of the vehicle are very noticible and, IMHO, seem to distract from the otherwise cool profile.

Part of the reason that scoop is so big is because it hides the CDC shaker scoop underneath it.

I got them to open the hood so I could look under and got a pic of it.
The pictures run from 100_1680 to 100_1688.

They're coming out with a brake kit (front and back) for the S197 too. You can see them in my pics.

I saw it at SEMA. They're looking for dealers. Not my taste but then again, there is something for everyone.

The pop rivets suck it BIGTIME....

Need higher profile tires - with how 'bulky' the rest of the car is, it over powers the wheel/tires combo.....

Not bad but could use some tweaking still....

sorry, it just does not do anything for me. Not too mention that isn't it too late to jump on the s197 platform bandwagon? Did it really take them 2 + model years to come up with that?

Well, hate to rekindle an old link but I love my 2008 Cragar Special Edition. I have just completed a few well deserved modifications such as cams, long tube headers, CAI and 4.10 rears. By the way, they are not rivets, they are torx head SS screws.
