[attachmentid=16966][attachmentid=16966][attachmentid=16966]Here is my Brand New 2005 Roush Stage 1 GT. HAs the following:

Racing Stripe
Roush Front Facia w/fog lights
Roush Rear Facia with Spoiler
Roush 18" Wheels
Rear Window Louvers
Roush High Performance Exhaust
Roush Performance Exhaust Tips
Roush Instrument Panel w/Signature
Roush Stage 1 Nameplate On dash
Stage 1 Oval on rear decklid
Silver Interior upgrades
Roush Racing pedals
Roush Floor Mats
5-spd manual
Roush Window labels--front and back
Roush symbol side of car
I may have missed others but you get the idea!

Only thing missing is Roush Leather (has Factory Leather) and Tool Kit. I have heard that the exhaust upgrade adds 30Hp bringing it to 330hp. I will be having it dyno'd to prove it but it certainly feels that way! I love this car and cannot drive it anywhere without creating a stir.

Enjoy

They are vinyl from Roush--I hope someday to get them painted.

Congrats on the great looking ride!

Some one has to ask; how much did it set you back?

No suspension or performance work done to the car??? I know you mentioned "Roush Performance Exhaust" which I assume is a cat-back. You aren't going to be close to 330hp, since all you really gain is sound with a cat-back.

From what I've managed to gather, the Stage 1 is a cosmetic job only. Personally, I was on the fence re the Roush style, until I saw one in the flesh and was blown away.

I've gone the path of adding the kit to my GT, along with rim n rubber upgrades, Steeda filter, new rear end gears, Eibach Prokit, Steeda u/d pulleys and the Diablosport Predator retune. Hopefully I'll combine the aggressive look of Roush with a wee bit of extra oomph (I know the mods listed will only add minimal gains, but it all counts!).

Does anyone know why Roush aren't putting their hood scoop on the Stage 1's? It comes with the bodykit (pls, no 'rice' comments - I agree, fake scoop = rice, but if that was their mindset, then why make the scoop in the first place?).

I love it. I think the Roush is the best aftermarker car out there. I was lookin into getting me a Stage I since the HP and price or the Shelby is going to be outrageous and cause insurance to be way to high. Mind if i ask how much the car put you back, as well as insurance?

Beautiful color by the way!!!

Racing Stripe
Those Roush stripes look very similiar to the Ford Factory stripes you can get as a dealer installed option.

Here in GA, the insurance is the same on a v6 or GT or Saleen. Why would the Shelby be different? I'm not sure if this varies state to state, just giving you a heads up.

Thanks... I'll have to look into in further here in NM. The only reason why I could see a difference with the Shelby is due to the huge HP increase.

That's what I was pondering about too, if such a dramatic increase like that would effect anything.

How about deleting the fogs in the grille, it just doesn't look quite right with that many lights in the front.

I believe the scoops were not yet ready for production...

I also believe the hood scoop is an option only on the S1 packages.
