Nice! Sounds like no 1/4 window coverups.

very nice. Thanks Michael!

So the chin spoiler, hood, and rims will be different for the production model

Yeah, it seems they went for function over form in regards to the 1/4 window covers or side scoops. It's beautiful in person!

Talking to the guy at the Autoshow who was showcasing the Shelby he even said, "Don't look for this hood to be on the production one." So we'll have to wait and see. At the show it was clear that the hood scoops were non functional. They were just open cuts in the hood.

You're welcome!

I don’t really care what those ****** at MT say if I get one of these…heck even if I don’t get one I’m referring to this car as a Shelby Cobra GT500!

Is this issue already on the news stands? If so, I'm running out to get it. Looks good though. Thanks for posting.

I picked it up on my way to the Autoshow. I don't know about the newstands where you're from but over here in NYC they put'em out regardless of release date. Gotta love this city!

Always happy to help out Steve. Go read the other article from the issue about the supercharger in the 2005 section. 410+hp with 0-60 MPH in 4.6...

Anybody notice the pics behind the car? Looks like interior and exterior color schemes. I can't zoom them in enough to see them. There is def. a White/Blue and a Blue/White. I can't tell what the interior choices are. I'd love blue inserts in a White/Blue.

The hood vents are for heat dissapation within the engine compartment. That makes them useful and functional and they serve their purpose (for the show car). They are not for intake.

It sure does appear to be. Any chance it's that Valencia Orange that was mentioned in the article?
