Ok for some ,I guess , but not me.

Soooo much glued on to the rear fascia. Totally cheesy. It reeks of too much money and too little class.

Give me stuff that has a function ...wheels/tires ,brakes ,etc and KEEP IT CLEAN looking. I agree with Hau Thai Tang. Scoops and gee-gaws that do nothing don't fly with me.

Seems like a juvenile way to junk up a nice looking car and ---- away good money.

Ok, so you've seen a couple on the web. The Roush looks WAY better in the flesh.

For me, this whole kind of argument is stoops. How much of what makes ANY car look great is actually 'functional', much less a stock GT? Rear spoiler, driving lights, flared fenders, large plastic bumpers, fake rear gas cap...the list goes on and on and on.

If it's fake and comes from the factory, that's ok? Doesn't make any sense to me. I see the factory model as the 'vanilla' and anything else is just a different flavor for different tastes.

Any pics of your 'Cobra'?

Can we please all learn a little something about constructive critism, or maybe just a nicer way of saying we dont like something?

I am not a fan of the Rousch, or the Saleen. However, I wouldnt say that they are examples of lower class, cheese, or anything else close to that.

If we all had the same tastes in cars, it would be a pretty boring world, dont you all think? None of these aftermarket companies would be in business, thats for darn sure!

C'mon folks, different strokes for different folks, right???

I saw he'd slammed the Saleen (erm, if I hadn't gone Roush, I'd have gone Saleen...) and the Bonspeed + the Roush in a few other posts, so I had to get The Stick out (how could I not?).

How's your conversion coming along, JR?

Kinda like saying Rodney Dangerfield's taste in golf clothes in "Caddyshack" was deserving of "constructive criticism." If you don't have the cajones to say what something is , you probably don't have cajones...sorry Jessica.

The Roush was in a parking lot ....just far enough away that I didn't throw up on it.

Doesn't compare to Rod's pants, tho, sorry! :nono:

Jack, I probably have bigger cajones than you do. You can show however, how much class you have simply by the way you choose to state your opinion.

What you said was simply rude. Try using some tact next time. Perhaps you understand my point better now.

CelticStanger, conversion... what a joke! LOL Its still literally on the drawing board. Sent out to a couple companies. We'll see... I am also saving my pennies to do each mod on my own, if it comes down to that.

While I am not a fan of the Roush myself, I am still very excited to see yours, CelticStanger! Post some pics already dude!!

Pics are in. There're only 3 for now, but once I get back home I'll take some more. The pics are in the 'Holy Shoot!' (I get a weird when I'm hungover!) thread.

There are not too many of the rear end of the Roush, make sure to get lots of the rear... quarter angle, straight on, from above...

Yeah, I took one of the rear, but that's it. You saw the pics already?

I'm sure you'll see the car pretty soon - the moment I'm off the plane Thursday, I'll be out and about.

MsRabbitt....perhaps you do have bigger cajones. Mine are the size of Buicks and made of brass.Perhaps your's are the size of Cadillacs. Normally I'd say "good for you" but you are female, right??

I guess there is something for everyone on the internet.

This is a forum and I expressed my opinion. Funny how some folks are so easily offended these days that they are intolerant of free speech.Yeah,I think i understand your point pretty well. Ya gonna throw me off now?

That's the funniest statement EVER - "intolerant of free speech". What a misunderstood and abused concept that is. So, it's ok to go talking trash to anyone and expect no comeback? Whatever you want to say is ok? It's your right? Where would that end?

Also, why are you getting so het up? You post junk (under the "free speech" concept), but don't think other people are entitled to respond? Or, is the free-speech thing only applicable to you - YOU can say what you like, but everyone else has to sit back and take it. Clearly, you're trying to bait people, and it worked, so "have a coke and a smile and stfu!"

What year cobra do you have?

I'm tolerant of alot but no ripping on Rodney.

Oh man...this is the ugliest hat i've ever seen.......man......buy a hat like that i bet you get a free bowl of soup................oh...it looks good on you though.

and hayburner theres a difference between expressing your opinion and being rude. we try to keep the site free of pointless bickering and insults so say that you don't like the roush and why, not be rude to people that do like it.

As far as the car is concerned i have seen the Saleen and the Roush in person and very much dislike both. I don't think they compliment the car at all and was expecting much better from these two companies. Both take away from the beauty of the car and tack on gaudy body pieces. But yes to an extent...to each his own....celtic i hope you love and enjoy your car.

And JR quit the your ***** are medium sized at best

WTH??? You like Rodney, but not my ROUSH! THAT'S IT!

Roush and Saleen are both definately love em or hate em set ups, no question. You'll like mine, though - it has a non-functional hood-scoop, everybodies favorite accessory!

um, how do you know the size of JR's, cough, *****?

If you take a second and re-read my original post...you'll see I'm talking about a Roush. The post was talking about a CAR ,not a person. So...who's getting all "het" up and telling PEOPLE to STFU ??? Not me.
As for the Roush...time will tell.I'm thinking they won't go for much if anything at a Barrett -Jackson auction in 20 years.

My cobra? 2004 bone stock...good enough for me.

Clearly you're short on both.

Re the "STFU", it was a quote from Eddie Murphy - basically him doing Richard Prior telling Bill Cosby to chill. I apologise if it seemed like I was actually telling you to STFU, I put the quotation marks there, but I suppose if someone hasn't seen the vid, it's lost on them.

Re you're crazy "investment" idea - if you think production-line Cobra's will suddenly become classics, you've clearly lost the plot. My car will depreciate, so will any Cobra. You really think you've got a "classic" car?

Cobras are nice (almost bought one when I went to buy my 05), but seriously, wake up...

Dude ....if you were quoting Eddie Murphy you would have said so in the first place. Somewhat of a lame apology, but I don't expect or require anything else.

Lost the plot? Yeah...somewhere in 1970 when Shelby stopped making production line Cobras. Those were crazy investment ideas.Gee...what are they worth today, anyway? You do have one valid point.Cars do depreciate, but even you can see some go back up. Those production line Cobras ARE classics.

Money? I can honestly say I have enough. Some of it was made buying and selling Shelbys.
Class? Totally a matter of opinion...but I'm not driving a Roush "kit" car. I have my opinion and you have yours. Are you able to accept that at least?

I'm awake now...happy??
