Blue with silver? Too bad. Needs to be Blue/White like the classic color combo.

The only problem with the emblem is they are a pain to wax around. I guess I'll just have to spend more time in the garage with it.

Route 66, are you saying that Crazyhorse won't spend more time polishing? You mustn't know him!
Are you saying that it won't have a
Shelby emblem on the back? Naaaah!
Are you saying that the car won't be blue with silver @ Detroit, or that blue & white is ???

Wow you saw the GT/California Special, and didn't notice anything "special" about it. That's concerning as the part #s for the GT/CS show it has a different front and rear. It must not be too different from a normal GT.

Talk about a dearth of info.

So did it have the Shelby medallion on the back?

Did the interior have the full leather dash trim?

Do the seats have more bolstering and better leather than the GT?

Ok so this tells us little..we all know about the medallion..which i think is what is reffered to here. As it says "emblem" not lettering.

And this "source" doesn't know about the GT/CS.... it's some kind of special version for california...yeah theres a reliable source.
Sorry if this sounds antagonistic..but it just proves nothing except the source doesn't have a clue.

Agree and agree!!

The blue with white would have been a great choice and I'm not crazy about waxing around the emblems....but I gladly will.

I guess I'm in the minority. I prefer Blue and Silver to Blue and White

I still like the blue and silver, I just always remember blue and white when I think of a Shelby... or white with blue.

Those are great looking Mustangs, just not Shelbys. I'm sure the car will look great in any color combo!

He said "on the left side of the rear decklid was a polished looking Shelby eblem" so im guessing there is no SHELBY lettering in the middle. Hopefully it looks nice with stripes put on perfectly, can't wait to see pictures of it & hear the official specs and pricing

I think it's going to be the 40th package just like amyb said in here:
http://forums.bradbarnett.net/index.php?sh...pic=38287&st=40

I think the emblem will look like the 67's.

It will not be the lettering in the middle like the 68's.

I would prefer it looking like the 68's, but something is better than nothing.

Good call on that badge - it will probably be a modern re-imagining of that very badge! Just hope they keep the Shelby center medallion, too...no reason not to.

I would be happy with that badge. Probably more than the big letters. It sure would be easier to polish and wax around.
