I drove mine for the first time since winter. It was nice enough to pull my car out and drive it but still a little too cold for my mustang lurkers (groupies) to come out but I still had an awsome time. It will be even warmer tommorow so I will drive it again then.

You are one lucky SOB! Did I see you got the car from a dealer in Michigan? Did you drive it or ship it back east? That is one car that is in close competition to replace my 03 Mach 1 shortly. Nice car, and nice pics, thanks for sharing!

Jim,
The quoted price included enclosed carrier, shipment from CA to MI and then from MI to my home. It arrived at 7:30 PM Saturday December 2nd with 48 miles on the odometer. Other than going out a couple times before the first snow hit. 4+ months later it sits under car covers and blankets in the garage between 40s and 50s degrees with 256 miles on the odometer.
However, it will soon be roaring up and down the NE countryside.

Special front plate
I have seen someone selling a special plate that does not require you to drill holes in your front bumper. It uses a bracket that mounts under the bumper in the opening of the lower grill. I have out of state plates so I don't have to drill holes in my bumper. I think that is blasphemy especially with a 1 of 500 car like bruce has. Bruce I do plan on cloning your watts link suspension technology.

Steve,
I plan on running without a plate. Since its not a daily driver I hopefully will not get in too much trouble. But just in case, the front plate is mounted to a bracket in the car.
Derek,
You can't go wrong with the Saleen / PJ suspension. Even though I haven't driven it much, I have driven it enough to know it has incredible handling.

Nice Bruce, I do the same thing now. I have an 05 V6 with a GT front bumper and run without a plate and have been stopped twice with it (but never a ticket). I talked to Tasca today and my GO GT has an ETA for the week of April 9th. When the weather clears up, I would love to see your car in person! Maybe a Grabber run in lil' Rhody would be in order?

As soon as it hits 500 miles I plan on taking it to Tasca Ford in Cranston for an oil change. They are waiting to see it. As you know the Tasca family started racing Stangs in the 60s and still today have a love for them. They also acquired Rizzo Ford recently so I am hoping they (Tasca) will pick up the Saleen fanchise which Rizzo had.

To answer your question about them acquiring Rizzo, they decided not to continue the Saleen franchise at the moment due to some money issues. Rizzo had mortgages on all their cars and Tasca pretty much bought their stock and their name/Ford franchise and their Saleen stock was sent to other Saleen dealers. Although I will tell you that there has been alot of talk about becoming a Saleen dealer lately.
But as for racing, we all pretty much know that Bob Tasca created the kick a$$ CobraJet and was a huge player in the mustang/racing scene back in the day. Now, Bob the III races the Tasca Ford alcahol Funny car...http://www.fordracing.com/news/detail/index.asp?article=20423&type=1

Small World, Smaller Country, Smallest State. I'll try and give you notice before I go to Tasca. Steve Guyette also wants me to call him before I go up so he can have some of the Tasca Family see the car. Do you know him?

Yea, absolutely. My 05 V6 turned out to have some massive problems, him and John Garcia have taken care of alot of the issues that I've had over the past year, thus the new GT. They are both awesome guys and I know the family will love your car. Bob's brother Carl has a Grabber Orange GT that he's bored out to a 302 and is very Boss/PJ esq which has been my inspiration for my Grabber.
