Hurst Comp Plus Billet Shifter vs Non-Billet

There was a lot of discussion around the Hurst Comp Plus shifter (392-0201) in terms of rattling noises from vibraton, bad install instructions, etc from about a year ago. Has anyone installed one of these lately? Does this problem still exist (or other problems). Hurst doesn't appear to be shipping the newer Billet model (391-5201). Has anyone installed the Billet in the Mustang and has this resolved the rattle/noise problem?
