When they are functional they are used for a/c i think
they're used for intake on mid or rear engine cars. having that on a front engine car is an insult. Ac is still all in the engine. maybe you could cut a hole in the roof and use it as a vent, that is about as functional you could get for the mustang. but anyone who would do that would get a

Specs say:
TRAK+® Wheel Spacers - Go Wide® with TRAK+®
SSR Semi-Solid Forged GT10 19x9.5-inch front and 19x11-inch rear wheels
Pirelli Pzero Rosso Asimmetrico tires
275/35x19-inch front
305/35x19-inch rear
Why are wheel spacers needed with 275/305's?????

Ditch the rice and it would be one sweet ride, I sorta dig the front splitter though.
The faux roof intake is the worst part. Then again maybe it is my dream mustang complete with a roof mounted phaser and photon torpedo array for when I get stuck behind the jerk going 54 in the left lane.
