[attachmentid=17736][attachmentid=17736]I have seen some amazing chops on this site and have a request for the resident gurus.

Will someone chop the front splitter, side skirts, and rear diffuser from black to body color.

Finally, if you could also do a variation with the splitter, skirts, and diffuser body colored and the GT500 side stripe removed.

I very much like the overall result of this car, but I think SVT really missed when they painted these parts satin black. :bang: According to MT, the reason is to make the car look leaner, longer, and lengthen the profile. None of the stated goals of this decision are attributes i desire. The thing I most liked about the original 2003 concept was the substance and visual weight from the side as a result of the lower, body colored skirts and fascias. IMO SVT missed an opportunity to set this car further above the base GT by making it look like the base V6 in this regard.

I hope the picture I tried to attach worked. It is the best profile shot I could find. There is a very good profile shot in thie current motortrend issue, but I cannot find it online.

Thanks

You'll have to excuse the double post, I've never tried to post or attach a photo before.

Worked pretty well though, all things considered.

Thanks Jason. Its hard to tell if that helps with black as the color. Probably my fault for picking a poor photo. Much appreciated.

Anyone, anyone . . .

Perhaps anyone have a better profile shot which sould be used?

I'm really hoping for a nice shot done in red, with the splitter, side skirt, and diffuser done body color, and the side stripe removed?

Can anyone work their magic???? :worship:

I just don't have the skills.

Actually, they are really good...that's how I'd like mine to look. Would you be able to do one more with the mirrors in red too?

Thanks alot, those look really good.

The more I think about it the more I am sure. If Ford manages to produce enough of these to meet demand, and if I am able to find one without a $25K "market adjustment," I may just have to have all the black stuff painted body color.

I would like to see the silver like in the proto with the ghost stripes. I love the color and look of the Shelby roadster proto Ford did a year ago and then supposedly cancelled

That last chop is exactly what I was originally looking for, but I could not find a good side photo. AWESOME.

I think the improvement over the "satin black" is phenominal. I only hope Ford changes this tiny part of the car. if not, i guess I'll just have to get them painted.

Thanks again.
