my philosophy is that ford is circulating a pic of an "unfinished" gt500 to get people excited about the unveiling... I may be wrong, we'll see soon.... what do yall think?

 

I hope it is finished. I wouldn't really want anything changed (except painted mirrors.)

Makes sense. They floated concept pix of the 05 GT for two years before they showed th real deal (which is different).

Not bashing, just saying that ads generate hype!!!

 

It looks like the pics shown are in the staging area before they bring them to the show floor. The classic GT500, in the background of the one pic, is supposedly being borrowed from a member over at SVTperformance. Ford, according to him, was rushing and forgot to bring a museum car with them and so an employee, who is his friend, asked to use his car .... or something like that.

Anyway, remember the car is unfinished. It is not 100% set in stone production yet. They could be holding things back or waiting to see what people say.

 

Yeah, and all those publicity pics were taken are to throw us off, and so is the motor trend article.
