Did someone say 'environment friendly mustang'?

Before dismissing these 'all electric' versions of the mustang, check out the performance of the two versions - just to tease a bit the 300 hp equivalent: 0-60 in 4.0s and 1000 (yes it does say 1000) ft/lbs of torque, the 600 hp equivalent: 0-60 in 3.2s and 2000 ft/lbs of torque. not bad for an all electric car.

Oh yeah. eventually. But you can only drive approx 150 miles on a 'charge'. Thats not very far. These guys are located about 25 miles down the road here, and currently produce some wild stuff. Mustang of course. Bad news is, this new development is being built out in So Cal. They have been big down here, and were at the Fantasy of Flight show with there 'toy's'. All the power's to be are out on the west coast now, so can't even go down the road for any sneak peaks, currently.

from the article it appears they will be selling it. though it seems its more of a you buy the car and take it to them for the conversion than it does them selling the vehicle outright.
unfortunately, the autoblog article is coming up blank right now for some reason. the website of the company selling this is in the op you can try there. might be a conversion to try if you only need to provide a v6 model and they make it into that showcar, not so much so if you have to supply them with a gt500 though.

yeah def not a road trip kinda car but day to day driving you just plug it in over night and you can drive 150miles that day.

Thumbs down extra time before they save you in an accident

First responders are taught to disconnect the battery and turn off the key immediately before cutting into a car, but that's not always possible.

"Years ago you could just cut with your extrication tools through a post, but now you have to look before you cut," said Ken Nelsen, chief of the Iselin Fire Department District 11 in Woodbridge Township, N.J. "It's just another thing you need to worry about."
