ken grody couldn't sell their two pj's because they thought it was because of the grabber orange color , So they painted them black in hopes they would move a little faster. If they didn't mark them up so much and not budge on the mark up they might have sold last year

thanks for the pics, i just recieved my Saleen Heritage front and rear facia kits, black out truck kit, PJ 19" wheels and hockey stripes. It will be a 1 of 1 Legend Lime heritage. Now if i can get a shaker hood. Thanks again for the pics.

 

Why in the world would they take a PJ car and paint it Black!!!

Now if it came from Saleen black then they may be able to say 1 of 2.

I would think that would quickly devalue the car. It was a PJ partly because of the color (Grabber Orange). In black - I dont see it as a PJ any longer (especially since it didnt come from Saleen in that color). I would bet it will sit on the lot a long longer now.

 

Brilliant! I've also heard that if you paint a Bullitt red it will sell faster.

 

This dealer really is profoundly dumb. People buy Ferraris and Lamborghinis in bright colors because those are specialty cars that deserve to stand out.

Not only did these foolios paint a bright orange car BLACK, but they did it to a special edition! Black is the worst color since it literally hides the details and curves that a specialty model usually offers over the stock model.

I pity the fools who actually buy these cars thinking the color was done by Saleen...
