Uggh. Kid Rock, yeah I saw that on Ford's Media site. I don't think he fits the image of a Mustang, but then again I don't think the GT-R fits the image of a Mustang anyways with it's styling. Kid Rock woud look more at home next to a rusted out 1976 Chevy Pickup in two-tone brown, towing a camper. But whatever, I know some guys like him here so whatever they want but I think Ford has dropped the ball with the car and the image for the GT-R. I think they should have hired Roush instead of Saleen. I've never been a Saleen fan. Steve Saleen's always been into louvers and extreme body kits - not my cup of tea. But whatever .. Ford will do what they're gonna do. Jack Roush's cars look much better than Steve's IMO. Saleens are overpriced, too, which adds insult to injury IMO. But whatever, I guess Ford has their reasons.

Wouldn't your say the Roush is also overpriced?

Yeah, relatively speaking to the Cobra the Roush is overpriced. But the Roush Stage III actually will beat an 03/04 Cobra from the factory, despite the fact it's a SOHC motor. But when you talk price, the 03 Cobra is much better bang for the buck.
Saleens I don't even care about the price so much, they're just kinda ugly IMO.
