Ok.. After waiting 17years since I sold my 88gt I decided that it was time so I finally did it Sat.. After speaking to the local dealer about the gt500. he told me yes i was number 1 and yes I could have the first convertible but at a price of 70k. So I said ok thats it. I need a convertible now and can't wait till the donkies named jack out there stop paying anything over msrp. So i bought a screaming yellow s281 supercharged saleen with 1,00 miles on it.. for under 50k.. Hope to fly down to florida tuesday to pick it up.... If you drop them to 800x600 you should just be able to post them directly here though....

So hows the driving with the supercharger??

 

Key question is, how do you drive that at speed limit? how are you able to drive it any less than 100 on the highway?!?! I know I can't, and I don't even have a supercharger...

 

Beautiful car. I had my supercharger put in at their plant, and was really taken by the tour. I am going to go with the SC upgrade soon to 3.8 pulley, injectors, mass air. I also have their suspension. I love it. Erik

 

Hey guys thanks.. Well it is real hard to keep it within the speed limit.... And I find that the car doesn't have a lag in power. Its crazy...... The car keeps pulling throught the power band...

Saleen re-flashes the ECM to get rid of the lag. They are planning a Saleen S281 E ("extreme") for the end of the year and it is worded to put out 500 hp.
