Can Ford legally create something similar to this, and sell it as a new model?

Can you have it with just the hips and no 1/4 window delete? If so do you have a picture?

This car is proof the 05+ Mustang Body style is so powerfully insane, that it is an absolute piece of art work..

This kit or this type of body style should be created and sold by Ford... They will sell millions of Mustangs if they added this additional type of Fast back to the product line up..

I say, Ford should create this body style with 2 types of motors.. They should make the base model of this Mustang FastBack with a 5.4L N/A.. Then they should make a Model which is called a GT-R with a 5.8L..

Pricing starts at 27,995MSRP for the standard 5.4L, and $32,995MSRP for the GT-R..

If Ford could some how be grabbed by the shoulders, and shakin up, maybe screamed at, this would be a reality..

The impact of this 05+ Mustang in Fastback Form is so powerful, somehow, someone must force Ford to create this Mustang..

This would give the new Mustang 4 distinct models..

1. Standard 4.0L V6

2. Mustang GT 4.6L

3. Mustang GTS 5.4L

4. Mustang GT-R 5.8L..

Man, my imagination is so consumed with these new Mustangs.. I hate Ford for not creating this FastBack.. If they made this Mustang line up, they would be on top for years to come.. How could anyone resist a $32K 5.8L 2006 Mustang Fastback? LOL!!

Finally a rear view of the Black stang with hips!
This looks a lot better in black than the red one... especially with those louvers!

Haha, no one could resist that MSP. Unfortunately no one could afford to sell it for that. Ford is saying the GT500 MSRP will be ~$45k now, there is no way in heck they could or would sell a 5.8 liter powered car for $13k less than that.

For your $32K price point, we could realistically hope for a BOSS S/E fastback w/
-all the visual accouterments of a boss
-all the stuff in Fords new suspesion suspension pack (stiffer/shorter springs, shocks/struts, lower and upper control arms, anti-roll bar)

and either

- all the stuff in Fords new drag pack (4.10 gears, CAI, headers, tune)

or
- a N/A version of the 5.4 liter (prob be priced closer to $35k)

Isn't Nick that guy who created that Mustang pick up?

Is there a website where I could see more pics of the "Boss 69"

is there glass behind those louvers, or just the stock glass that ends further up the trunk? I am not a big louvers fan and would love to see it without them. Just hoping......

Actually, we already have the fastback in the '05/06. In '69/70 it was a Sportsroof. With changing the trunk area like that, it shows how much a stock '05/06 is really styled after the '65/66 fastback.
The '05/06 never even resembled a '69/70 in my opinion... until now. Great job, Nick. VERY impressive!

I like Zach's idea of the hips with the stock quarter window. Any plans on something like that in the future? (but keeping the lines of the trunk)
