I'm suprised they didn't stick with the 2005 GT wing -in black. What did they put there on the rear instead? Looks like a 1" strip.

I love that car!

I think that engine should be used in these cars.

This is a race car built specifically for Grand Am Cup. Those tires 275/40/17 Hoosier GAC, which are probably going to be the required size. (same as the 2004 Cobra).
The rear wing will probably not be allowed, and probably no wing will be approved, but the little teeny lip you see is allowed for other cars.

this car might be at the SEMA show.

That would be good news. I'd love to see this car in person.

Holly shnikees! That's exactly what I want to see except the wheels (gotta be Magnum 500s. Can anyone photoshop some onto that?) and I'd like to see a Calypso Corral-type color. I'd sell my liver, kidneys, and spleen to have that car like that. :worship: :headbang:

I'M IN LOVE!!!
i agree that the wheels need to be a bit bigger (some magnums would look nice), and it needs a black spoiler to complete the package (although i think the 05 spoiler wont cut it, it needs something like the 1970 spoiler).

IMPORTANT QUESTION: do their need to be a certain amount of production cars with that same engine to enter the Grand Am Cup? like back in the late 60's and 70's when there needed to be a certain number of production BOSSes for ford to be able to enter the BOSS in the Trans Am races???????

How big are those wheels? They look like 18" which is fine for my tastes, recently it seems like everybody is fitting 19s and 20s with no problem, which I think might too be big for a car. (even though they still look good)

probably white because it started as a body in white shell.

I'm not feeligng this. Mainly because the color is so darn ugly. I've puked beter looking colors. My other reason why I don't like this is because it looks like they stole the wheels off of a golf cart and through them on. Those are what 13 inchers... j/k. So okay not a golf cart but still you get my point they are just so dang small. :nono:
