Chicago. What to do?

Taking a family trip to Chicago next month. Never been there. Where to go and what to see. Need some things to do. Definitely going to Wrigley. Definitely doing a lot of sight seeing. Recommendations please.

Gotta check the dates and see if they are playing when we're there.

Seems like they just played in StL last week so...
Great rivalry but fun - you always see red and blue in each stadium since they're pretty close.

I passed by Busch stadium once. Really cool looking place. Would love to catch a game there.

Good thing you're not coming up this weekend. It's a mess with the nato stuff going on.

The Volo car museum is really cool. I did a car show there last year and got to see a ton of movie cars.

For downtown, any of the museums are a good time. The Museum of Science and Industry is probably my fav. The Shedd Aquarium is also good.

If you guys aren't afraid of heights then you'll definitely want to check out the Sky Deck at the Willis Tower - formally Sears Tower. You can stand out over the city from 1300+ feet up and see for miles. Really cool at sunset.

Check out Navy Pier for some cool history and cool views of Lake Michigan. Grab some Garrett's carmel corn while you're there and take a ride on the huge ferris wheel.

One thing we've been meaning to try is the midnight ghost tour. I've heard that's fun to do.

Be sure to bring a camera. It's sometimes easier to take a cab most places downtown than to worry about finding and paying for parking. Let me know when you're coming up and I'll see what else is going on at that time.

Take them to the bean next to the art institute. It attracts quite a crowd! Also of course they may be interested in seeing the water tower place.. I know my gf loves it >.<
