OK well i did draw for a while last night but i didn't like any of it. I'm experimenting on how i want spidey to look. Here is some just playing around.
When i started to clean up spidey i realized that his limbs need quite a bit adjusting and I can't figure out how to move parts of multiple layers at once.. so i guess i'm going to have to flatten it and move it together. Is a pain in the butt but i gotta do what i gotta do.

I can move multiple layers together... but i cannot figure out how to move a part of the layers unless i copy and paste the part i want to take and then grab the cut ones and move them.

basically i have spiderman drawn...with about 6-7 layers. But the layers span his entire body. but i want to move his arm..which is a small peice of each of those layers.
When its just a single layer i just mask off and grab it and it cuts it for me to move anywhere. but when i try this with all 7 layers selected it won't cut it...it just moves the entire layer.
The only way i can think to do it is to make a selection and copy and paste that portion of each layer and then move those together. but if i do that i have to mess with 14 layers before i flatten each back to the original 7. maybe Doug knows how to do what i need to do in PS CS2.

Chris , looks like you've pointed out a big difference from the vector world to bitmap.
I think grabbing multi-layer object shapes is somewhat easier in the vector world.
I hope Doug can give you some help, I clueless with the bitmap stuff.
