Appreciate it Doug and Chuck.
man, i'm just fiddling with the thing now...
But i am getting satisfied with batman so i think i will be moving on to spider-man.

yeah chuck, i'm certianly loving the wacom. It really helps put my thoughts onto the screen which i couldn't accuratly free draw with the mouse.
the lighting is driving me crazy though...
I like the lights/darks on batman here better then the latest.
I am trying to do soft main light with hard opposite edge light like most studio film setups but i like the 2 hard lights like above but doesn't look realistic to me... i dunno its driving me nuts and i just had to vent. So if anyone has suggestions great but if not, i will prob figure it out after a dozen more tried..

all you need to do is justify that hard light..over wash from a billboard or a street lamp and you are golden
JUst put some street lamps in the distance out of focus like they are brawling on a street coener and it should be fine..at least in theory
