I think it looks to much like the cone characters

 

As long as he doesn't make them orange...

The one peeking out looks cool, but you loose a lot of the "A" inside it.

 

I'm not trying to copy the cone.... I just added arms to the same thing that I've been using since forever...

 

Jason, here's my quick take on your logo idea...

(Mostly, I changed the stroke types.)

 

awesome! I like that, except, I like the triangle closing at the bottom...

 

Thanks, I thought about the triangle, since you gave it "arms,"
I tossed in feet.
For me, these just don't work with closed bottom.

If you go with the closed bottom, I'd drop the feet.

That's just my opinon, have fun with your concept.
It's clean, simple and easy to reproduce.

Well Arin, you could always change the hat to be one from a winning team.

Jason the wall pose is nice, but... (you just knew there would be one of these)...

....I think it hides too much of the "A" inside the triangle.
Nice work on the avatar design, I like this color pattern even better.
