The top one took me a 45 mins to do, this one took me about 30 mins.

ever think of puttin em into photoshop and colorizing em. that'd make for some kickarse backgrounds

Something that you can even bring into it when you take them into photoshop is the gradient overlays. Give them some texture making them look like a stone wall based maze that never ends. I think it would take the depth of the drawing alot further.
