Photo of the day...
Had a client bring in some old photos of her from 1948 and some current ones of her granddaughter. She wanted a merge of two images to give to her for her upcoming b-day. So here's what I came up with knowing that the granddaughter is very artistic and a photo enthusiast...

And the final result

Unfortunately the original color image was so low-res and pixelated it turned out very soft and fuzzy.
Also, the customer wanted things closer together so I'm refining the artwork.
I'll post the finished image in a few days.

Here's the latest project. About 10 years ago I photographed this wedding and the groom is a total Star Wars fanatic. The light saber that he is holding is a real prop from the original movie that he bought at an auction. They played Star Wars music at there reception. Anyway... the original print I made was a studio sample and is now fading. The print gets so much attention at bridal shows that I didn't want to replace it with something else so it's getting an upgrade. The first image was taken with film and now with digital I can do almost anything.

Here's the lasted update. This groom wore a Superman shirt underneath his tux as a surprise for the bride (don't ask, inside joke). She loved it and we did a whole series of photos. The first picture was a studio sample and started fading so I thought I would reprint it with a new background.
