Coney & Friends are Back...
Looking for some suggestions for next weeks Halloween strip.
Some may remember that last one I did where Girdlock had one of his worst costume
ideas--the "Christmas Tree."
So for this year, I'm open to some costume ideas for Gridlock or
any other cone.
PM me with thoughts, so I can keep them a surprise.
Here's the previous Halloween strip (wow, didn't realize it was from 2004
).

Ha ha
I don't know who will notice this (if any)...I hate to point out anything bad about the Cones, but the 3rd panel is wrong. Shouldn't he (-No!!!) be on the left side? In the first panel he's on Gridlock's Left side and in the 3rd he's moved to the right. I understand the need for the conversation to flow, so maybe move him around in the 1st panel?
Thanks.
Jemery, it could work either way, only "rule" I've got to follow is keeping the proper
flow of the conversation.
(If you can't tell who said what, then I've got a big problem.)
I had tried both word bubbles stacked on the same side, but didn't seem to work as well for me and my "test" family.
My wife and kids are the proving grounds before any coimcs get posted.
I'm amazed that anyone is really watch these toons that closely.

Thanks for the comments, it all helps me to improve.

Thanks for the comments Chris.
On the viewing angle, I went with the back view to move the "camera" angle around.
Didn't want things to stay too static, but I'm starting to fall into
a "staging" pattern if I compare the last few ones.
Got to watch out for that happening.

Just in pencil, if by that you mean from an angle slightly above the horizion, and
a few worm views too.
Those are really weird.
I have been staying with the newspaper "funny page" stylings with rather simple views and
not the more dramatic "action comicbook" scenes.
I'll try to find a few and post them.

i was thinking sort of like that but where you'd actually see the hole that is on top of a cone.
sorta like this...sorry if my drawing is a disgrace to the coney way but it was in paint.

You've just hit on another of my conumdrums.
I'm not sure if I want the cones to have the top hole,
not all of the styles have it.
Used it on the leave gag, but not any other time.
Anyways, here's more of a down low pov.
(Not to bad there on the Pylon doodle.)
