Rather than post photos here I am posting a link to our travel journal of our recent trip to England, France, Italy and Malta. There are thumbnails in the journal pages and clicking on them will get you a new page with an enlarged version.

Cool. Living in Europe for over a year has spoiled me a little when it comes to this type of scenery. I'm going to sure miss it when I leave. I miss America every time I can't get something I need in the middle of the night.
There's much to be said for that scenery, Steve, but look on our site at Getaways. I've posted a 15 day western states National Parks tour we took this past spring. Our spectacular scenery is in our landscapes.
I just watched "Once upon a time in the west" again last night and I wish I could visit Monument Valley and take some pics there. Absolutely spectacular. Almost alien looking.
A couple pics with my camera recently. Tag is watching a bald Eagle family that plays over top of our area some mornings. When he was younger i had to keep an eye on the eagles, as i caught them eyeing up Tag as possible dinner.
A mated pair of ducks hanging out near home as well.

It was a great experience driving the Stang through Italy. I drove down from Germany, through Austria, and into Italy. Everywhere I went people where taking pictures. The Kooks exhaust helped a little too since all the streets are narrow and the echo was intoxicating. Paying over $8 a gallon for gas wasn't though. I also hit up a couple parts of the Miglia on the way down. I was trying to get my wife to agree to hitting up the Stelvio pass but she was ready to get out of the car.
i have been struggling with getting my whole car in focus while blurring the background, using my 7D dslr. so any pics of my car with the dslr seem to focus on a point on the car then blur the rest. is that depth of field issue?
That is correct. You will want to shoot it with an aperture of around 4-5.6, that should do it.
Setting to start with on the 7d
AV Mode and start at 4.0 and work from there.
Let the camera set the shutter speed. If it is lower than 1/250 use a tripod.
I would use an ISO of around 400.
This photo was shot with the following settings
ƒ/4.0 71.0 mm 1/1600 200
