buffing out iron man

so i decided to go ahead and ink and color my iron man picture.

up i need opinions.

I am thinking of doing the line portion on iron man in a dark red opposed to black. which do you guys like better?

i like the black just because of the additional contrast, but i like the way the red works as well... sorry i can't be more help, lol

In the initial picture you've got lots of flames so the dark red would work well given that context... but alone, I agree the black looks better.

This was my thinking on. Most of the lines that the background will be made of will be using a different color other then black so i was thinking of doing the same with iron man himself.

Maybe when The picture nears completion i'll have to ask again to give people a full picture of how it would look with the background in place.

Cool. Are you retracing it in a vector image application?

I used to draw comic book characters all the time. I should try to dig out something and do this. Had some awesome spiderman/Venom/Carnage pics.

actually i'm doing it in photoshop... i should be using a vector program but i'm too stubborn to go outside PS.
