Well of course

Wheel issues,

I have read almost all the info in here about wheels, rims, offsets, back space, series blah blah blah. Why is it that the tire guys tell me that they can not order the size I want as the manufacture does not recomend. Really is tooo much to ask for

OEM Bullit 255/20/40 x 9 and 295/20/40 x 10 yes I would like the back end to stick out just a little and the front to be full to ach of the fender.

255 is the width 9", 40 is height from top of the rim to edge of rubber, 20 is the rim, front. Is that the way i should be asking for what I want? The tire store said that it is not recommended for Frd and they will ship me what is.

Here is pic I would like the back end to push out just a bit and front wheel well to be filled in. I believe this pic is a race slick. It is the off set that Im not sure of.

I would appreciate any suggestions.

I think recommended on 20" wheels which are usually 8.5" width wheels on front and 10" on back are the following:
255/35/20 front
and
285/30/20 rear or 275/35/30 rear
If you're looking at 20's post a thread asking whats the widest and best size twenties you can fit on your wheels provided you know what wheels you want to get and see what others have done.

Cheekie just read your PM from earlier after I posted above. Offsets are foreign to me I get it in general but I just stuck with what american muscle sold and then put the rubber on I wanted locally. I knew they knew the correct offset in what they sold. I also looked at tirerack.com and saw what the Shelby Torq Thrusts had as an offset and just knid of figured out what would work. There are several on here running 295 or even 305 on the rear tires but I 'm not sure who. It would be nice if you could talk to them.
