V6 MOD QUESTIONS
V6 MOD QUESTIONS
Hey guy's new to the forum. I have a couple questions on mods for a 2006 V6 Mustang?
What bolt on produces yeild the most horespower? COLD_AIR intake (what brand), Exhaust, Under driven pullies, headers, etc!
The car is stock!
Any and all input will be helpfull. I'm do want to SPRAY it or put a SUPERCHARGE on it because my wife drives the car>

You money would be best spent buying a tuner and CAI, an aluminum drive shaft and 3:73's with a t-loc. You will really feel the power increase. My wife drives my 11 sec V6 365 a year, in the snow, why don't you think your wife would like it?
A supercharger or a turbo is a better bang for buck than all the bolt ons. I ran 13.81 with all the bolt on's, but they cost as much as FI all together, and the ride was rough.
Hope that helps!
I personally use VMP email tunes. Any of the sponsors packages will get you a great tune and CAI. A dyno tune will yield a bit more power if you can afford it.
If you really want headers, JBA's are the easiest to install, the MAC shorties are a pain to install.
Long tubes will change the sound dramatically and not for the best, you will get a bit of a razzz noise at certian RPM's, with or without high flow cats
