Question V6 Ford Racing CAI filter???

Has anybody who is running the 05-09 V6 Ford Racing Cold Air Intake changed your filter??? If so, did you go back with the factory paper filter or change to the oiled type??

Here is the paper replacement filter: http://www.cjponyparts.com/product.a...paign=shopping

Im not running that filter since i have a v8.
But you should be able to switch to a k&n filter as long as you can find one that is the same size as the filter that you already have.

Well...........the Ford Racing replacement is $32 or more!! I figured a $50 K&N type would repay for itself in one cleaning right

I'd like to know too since the Bullitt filter is the same for V6 and V8. Post up the equivalent K&N p/n please.

Few options

I didn't fine a K&N direct replacement, found an AEM dryflow that was close (but too long), found a 'green' oiled filter, but decided to stick with the Ford filter.
