V6 Duals question
Hey Paul, glad to hear you got it done
$200 is a good bit better than the $400 the Lou's in Waltham tried to stick me for. Even with the current cost of gas, it'd be worth the ride down to Brockton
Any chance you'll be around sometime over the weekend? I'd love to drop by again and give the new exhaust on your 'vert a listen

I put the JBA set up on my car. Headers and H Pipe Duals. They are really nice, sound good and have improved not only the performance, but the mileage. I got mine at www.westcoastperformanceparts.com as is just my luck, I purchased them at regular price and now they are running a special on this set up. The Headers take about two or three hours to install depending on how fast you are working and how many beers you have. The H pipes take about an hour to an hour and a half install, again depending on the above mentioned parameters. If you are doing the Duals, make sure you unhook your shocks in the back and put the up on jack stands and drop the differential as far down as it will go. This really helps getting the old system out and the new one in.
Paul D. (Delz05) was kind enough to let me drop by his work to check out the exhaust install he had done, and even tossed me the keys and let me take his baby out for a few minutes to try it out.
I have to say I was very impressed. The shop did a nice tidy job, and it sounds simply great. The dual GT takeoffs w/ H pipe rumble quietly at idle or under light load, but if you get on it a bit you get some beautiful stereo evidence that the duals are present. The other nice thing with the factory pipes and locations being used is down the road, a swap for aftermarket mufflers would be a snap. I think I'm sold this is the way to go for my 'vert too.
Also I didn't get good shots of them, but Paul has black Bullitts on the car, and they look amazing with the windveil (I never personally cared for that color combined with the factory V6 wheels)
