V6 Dual Exhaust
Hi,
I know there have been several threads on this topic. I have put one GT takeoff on my V6 and it sounds better and seems to be a little more responsive. I have read that "true duals" may take away performance due to the lack of enough back pressure. Has anyone found this to be true. I am thinking of buying a takeoff h-pipe from someone in my Mustang club for $50. All I would need is hangers and the mid pipe. Also I am undecided whether to cut the rear valance or put a GT bumper on. Any input would be appreciated.
Thanks,
Tom

I want to go dual too!
The cheapest solution for the rear valence is to cut it with a dremel.
or
you can buy one of these.

Whenever someone makes claims as to increasing or decreasing hp, ask them to back it up with a dyno.
Ive got a GT takeoff h-pipe, midpipe, and GT mufflers on my V6, its only slightly louder than stock and only cost me $300 total.

Loudest I ever heard on a six was as follows:
- MAC LT's
- MAC High Flow Cats
- MAC Prochamber
- Dual MRT mufflers
