Tune
So I know that this has been discussed before. When you reflash your car back to stock to bring it to the dealer do they see that you've reflashed it? or do they just read that the battery has been disconnected and reconnected. I've read both on the forums and I just want to clarify... anyone know for sure? maybe talked to a dealer or something? Thanks

The best they could do is tell the ECU has been re-flashed... which proves absolutely NOTHING... When I had my TPS replace the procedure called for the ECU to be reflashed... which they didn't do since my N20 Tune was still loaded when I got the car back! So right there I simply deny that I did anything and point out the TPS procedure... and I could easily argue the car was reflash at the factory... LOL!
Some say they can't even tell if the ECU has been reflashed...
Personally I don't think the dealership is going to check your ECU the closely.. LOL! like I said I took my car in with my N20 tune loaded. Heck even my Zex Nitrous kit was completely installed in plain sight...
I've never heard of anyone be denied warranty service because of reflashing their ECU...

That really is my biggest concern in getting this thing.

I think you will be fine, my dealer knows about mine. You can always tell them you got it because you changed tire size and wanted to correct the speedo.

My car's a daily driver.. if you want that extra response and power for passing people, or pulling out of tight situations (ive had these where i almost hit someone cuz of the throttle delay or someone hit me) or just love the -feeling- of stomping the gas and feeling it get up and go.. then by all means yes!
Dude you havent pissed anyone off I dont think.. we're all just too eager to answer everyone's questions! Us... "regulars" I suppose you can call us... and those of us that've been around this forum forever now are just too excited to see all these new faces!
I got an 87 performance, a 91 Torque, and a 91 performance
(If I had 93 around here those 91's would be that)
IMO it wasn't worth it to get midgrade because I will either feel like having max performance, or having max savings at the pump. The 89 didn't make sense for my use. Besides it would mean I don't get to have a 91 TQ tune which is great for city driving. :drive:

Yeah mate haha I feel ya. I struggle month -> month for money, and most mods are so expensive its HARD to get up the money for them... I may get up 150-200 bucks for a 300-400 mod, then bills come up... food.. etc... so I know how you feel. I can promise you you wont be disappointed with this mod though.. the throttle response you get is simply amazing. How many people have said the car feels completely different after this mod? I know I have.
And never be afraid to ask questions.. even its the same one for the 50th time.. thats what we're here for man. This is an open forum, and for the most part its like a brotherhood. We just try to be as encouraging and helpful as we can!
Seriously, we should get paid for selling these guys products for them in alot of cases. TMS should atleast make comission or something... hehe.

Thank you man. I just meant that I'm sorry if I seem to ask the same questions, but it's alot of cash and I want to make sure it's something I'd really like to get.

Zodiac, Thanks man. You guys are awesome. Well this is my pleasure car so I think you have sold me on it. I'm sitting here trying to find a reason not to get it then I say to myself. "Hey why not? You're the one who wants a Viper!" And since the getting of that is far in the future and my only sports car will be my little stang for at least 6 years, darn payments!!, I figure why not make the best of it? Right?
I don't know when I will get it, but I will get it.
What kind of tourque/hp increase, etc can I expect besides a cooler sounding engine and throttle response?

But do you folks, being owners of this product beleive it would be worth that kind of cash for a daily driver?

Just the difference in throttle response is worth it.
I got mine from Doug at Bamachips and had an 87 octane performance tune, a 93 octane performance tune and a 93 octane torque tune (for low end power) put in and its great.
The other "regulars" on here a great for answering questions and giving advice. Ask anything you want, they;ll have an answer!
