I have purchased new rims for my V6 05 Mustang from The TireRack (18x8 ASA ST4 SML). The offset is 42. Will this fit my car? I believe the offset my the V6 is range from 25-45 right? Could anyone of you confirm it for me. Now i need to decide what size of tire to put on. I was thinking of 245/45/18. What do you guys think? My concern is not mess up with the speed odometer. Do you have any recomendation on tire size? Thank for your help in advance.

 

The offset is correct for your Mustang, so they should fit as long as the bolt circle is right. The Mustang is 5-114.3 mm (4.50 inches)

I might go with a 255/45/R18 so that your speedo will be the same. Here's a link to a tire calulator....

Will this size (255/45/R18) stick out from the fender? I am thinking of going with 235/50/18 or 245/45/18. Which one do you think is best fit and do you have a recommendation of what brand of tires i should buy. I very clueless when it comes to car. Thank for you help.

I don't think they will stick out. In fact it looks like that will be the size that Ford is going to go with the optional 18 inch wheel for 06. Here's a pic of a V6 with 18 inch wheels......

And they are going to go with BFG KWD tires in 255/45/R18. Here's a link to the BFG web page for those Tires. Tirerack had them for around $160 per.....
