So I recently traded for some 20s instead of my 17s I had before and the wheel was shaking like I needed a balance and alignment, so I got t but it still isn't driving right, any thoughts?

So I figured it out, JimC showed me that on one of the nuts on the rotor there is a clip you need to take off for after market rims to sit perfect on our cars. Makes no sense why ford did that but whatever lol after Christmas I'm gonna fix it

might want to jack it up and check out your frt end good. i had a frt hub that the inner and outer bearings were trashed, and tie rod ends and ball joints that were shot. even with all that bad, my car still drove pretty good and i had no idea how bad it all was.

those lock rings will mess up with some wheels sometimes, i always cut them off myself. they just hold the rotors in place during assembly. when i do brake jobs i`ll use a spacer and a lug nut to hold the rotor flat while i`m working on it, makes it easy to fit the pads on ect.

tie rod ends are cheap, rockauto. i bought the frpp frt control arms with the ball joints from am. at the time they were only around $200 but i think they went up like $100 more this past year. i bought the frt hubs from rock auto too, they werent to bad, dont remember the price. we cant service just the frt bearing though, have to replace the hubs.

how many miles on your frt struts? theres not too many things that will cause shaking in the frt end. most common thing would be balance and they would see any wobbles in the wheels when spinning them up

hate to bring this up but maybe you have a bent spindle. most frame shops have a spinner that will spin the tires on the car. that would tell all

I have about 72k on the car, the weird thing is though that the shaking only happened after the new rims were put on
